Led by Head Coach Lauren Chizmar, the Keiser Seahawks Women's Lacrosse team is gearing up for an exciting 2025 season. Approaching her 100th career win, Coach Chizmar is set to begin her ninth season at the helm.

When discussing the 2025 schedule, Chizmar said:
"We have a heavy road slate for 2025, but our team is ready for the challenge. We have grown and developed a lot throughout the fall, and I am so excited to see our team ascend throughout the spring season."

Last season, the Seahawks finished with an 11-8 overall record and advanced to the NAIA National Championship Tournament, where they fell to No. 2 Cumberlands. With sights set on a fourth consecutive trip to the NAIA Final Site this May, the Seahawks are ready to take on the challenges of the new season.

Key Returners and 2025 Outlook

Although Keiser will have to replace significant firepower from the 2024 roster, the team returns several key players, including:

• Hayley Frew (NAIA All-American)
  • 2024 stats: 31 goals and a team-best 59 draw controls.
• Milena Isturiz

The Keiser Seahawks Flag Football Team, led by Head Coach Sam Harris, has announced its 2025 schedule, featuring 15 games—including eight home matchups at the Keiser Multi-Purpose Field.

Coming off a historic 2024 season, the Seahawks are poised to defend their Sun Conference title and make another deep postseason run.

• Keiser set a program record with 18 wins.
• The Seahawks claimed both the Sun Conference regular season and tournament championships.
• Head Coach Sam Harris was named Sun Conference Coach of the Year.

The Seahawks are coming off a program-record 34-win season, including an impressive 15-4 record at home. Three Seahawks — Lizzy Small, Tes DeBono, and Macy Schaaf — earned All-Sun Conference honors last year.

Lizzy Small, a standout player, holds the Keiser career record for pitching wins with 43.

Last season, the Seahawks:

• Defeated two ranked teams: No. 20 Freed-Hardeman and No. 18 Coastal Georgia.
• Picked up three wins versus teams receiving votes: St. Thomas, Concordia, and Southeastern.

Led by Head Coach Jeff Desko, the Keiser Seahawks Men's Lacrosse team is ready to kick off the 2025 season. Desko enters his first season at the helm, bringing an offense that shattered records last year, including:

• 309 goals scored
• 195 assists
• 571 shots on goal
• 41 man-up goals

When asked about the upcoming season, Desko shared his thoughts:
"These men have worked extremely hard on the field and in the classroom this Fall. With a loaded conference schedule, each game has importance, and we expect to get everyone's best. We know each year is different, so while we can rely on our past experience to help us through adversity, we know we have to work extremely hard to have an opportunity to reach our goal this year. Excited to get back out on the field and see what this team can do!"

For the second consecutive year, the Keiser Seahawks have been selected as the favorites to claim the Sun Conference title, as announced by the league on Friday. The 2024 Sun Conference Preseason Flag Football Coaches' Poll, voted on by the conference's nine head coaches, underscores the Seahawks' prominence on the field.

Keiser Builds on a Historic 2024 Season

The Seahawks are coming off a record-breaking year, achieving a school-record 18 wins and securing both the Sun Conference regular season and tournament titles. Under the leadership of Head Coach Samantha Harris, who was officially appointed on May 15, 2024
