Led by Head Coach Lauren Chizmar, the Keiser Seahawks Women's Lacrosse team is gearing up for an exciting 2025 season. Approaching her 100th career win, Coach Chizmar is set to begin her ninth season at the helm.
When discussing the 2025 schedule, Chizmar said:
"We have a heavy road slate for 2025, but our team is ready for the challenge. We have grown and developed a lot throughout the fall, and I am so excited to see our team ascend throughout the spring season."
Last season, the Seahawks finished with an 11-8 overall record and advanced to the NAIA National Championship Tournament, where they fell to No. 2 Cumberlands. With sights set on a fourth consecutive trip to the NAIA Final Site this May, the Seahawks are ready to take on the challenges of the new season.
Although Keiser will have to replace significant firepower from the 2024 roster, the team returns several key players, including:

When reflecting on last season, Coach Pryor expressed his enthusiasm for the team's potential:
"With the talent and determination this team has shown, I’m confident we’ll continue to make strides and compete at the highest level. Adding Coach Kali Kaestner to our staff will only strengthen our program as we aim for new heights."

The Seahawks are coming off a program-record 34-win season, including an impressive 15-4 record at home. Three Seahawks — Lizzy Small, Tes DeBono, and Macy Schaaf — earned All-Sun Conference honors last year.

Led by Head Coach Jeff Desko, the Keiser Seahawks Men's Lacrosse team is ready to kick off the 2025 season. Desko enters his first season at the helm, bringing an offense that shattered records last year, including:
When asked about the upcoming season, Desko shared his thoughts:
"These men have worked extremely hard on the field and in the classroom this Fall. With a loaded conference schedule, each game has importance, and we expect to get everyone's best. We know each year is different, so while we can rely on our past experience to help us through adversity, we know we have to work extremely hard to have an opportunity to reach our goal this year. Excited to get back out on the field and see what this team can do!"
Several standout Seahawks are set to make their return this season:
The Seahawks' defense, which broke school records last season with 633 ground balls and 201 caused turnovers, remains a formidable unit.
Additionally, Lucas Green, the NAIA National Invitational Championship Tournament MVP, will return to protect the net for Keiser. Green set a school record with 22 saves during the championship game, including a critical stop with just 26 seconds left to secure the victory.

For the second consecutive year, the Keiser Seahawks have been selected as the favorites to claim the Sun Conference title, as announced by the league on Friday. The 2024 Sun Conference Preseason Flag Football Coaches' Poll, voted on by the conference's nine head coaches, underscores the Seahawks' prominence on the field.
The Seahawks are coming off a record-breaking year, achieving a school-record 18 wins and securing both the Sun Conference regular season and tournament titles. Under the leadership of Head Coach Samantha Harris, who was officially appointed on May 15, 2024
kuseahawks.com, the team earned nine all-conference honors—a program best.
Keiser's offense was formidable, outscoring opponents 713-138, while the defense set a new benchmark with 47 interceptions and posted nine shutouts.
Reflecting on the upcoming season, Coach Harris shared:
"Last year was an incredible journey, and we’re proud of what we accomplished. However, every new season presents fresh challenges. We’re excited to get back to work, build on our success, and compete at the highest level. This team has put in the effort, and we’re ready to take the field once again!"
